It will be done when it has risen and firm to touch. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

Besan dokhla in microwave in 5 minutes Dokhla batter _______________ 1 cup besan/chickepea flour 1/2 cup yoghurt 1/4 cup water Salt 1/2 tsp baking powder 1 tbs oil 1 tsp or 1 sachet eno 1 tsp ginger and green chilli paste Tempering __________ 2 tsp oil 1 to 2 tsp mustard seeds. 1 sprig curry leaves 1 pinch astofetida/hing 2 tbs water 1 tsp sugar Green chillies chopped Fresh coriander for garnishing Method _______ Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and adding eno right at the end before tipping it in the microwave. Pour the batter in a greased glass or microwave safe dish. Cook in microwave for 5 minutes until the edges leaves the side of the dish. For the tempering. Heat the oil. Add the mustard seeds. When it starts popping add the curry leaves, hing and green chillies. Remove from the heat and add the water and sugar. Put it back on heat and stir until the sugar dissolves. Pour this tempering on the dokhla and sprinkle fresh coriander.
